Superheroes, Supervillains and TVs

If you are like me, you would probably be wondering which TV is better: The plasma TV or the LCD / LED TV? Of course, there is the technical way of finding out which one fits your needs, and there is the smart way of knowing which one is the right one for you.

Batman, Cat-woman and Darth Vader along with some other superheroes and super-villains, would choose the Plasma TV hands down. If you look at what’s common between all of them, you will notice their dark uniform as well as their habitat. What do dark clothes have to do with it? Absolutely nothing, but it was just an observation…

However their habitat does. So Batman and Cat-woman live in some sort of a cave and are mainly night heroes, whereas Darth Vader lives in outer space with limited light or sun exposure. So all three of them having no light, meaning they will have no light reflection on their screen and would then choose plasma to get the real colors and not the artificially bright ones.

The Hulk

Dr. Bruce Banner however should definitely get and LCD or an LED. This is because if he was watching a movie on a plasma TV during the day, and his Plasma happens to be located in a room with too much light exposure, he might risk losing his temper due to the constant light reflection on the glass screen of his plasma. This will prevent him from enjoying his favorite TV series “the incredible Hulk”, hence transforming into the HULK, which we would all rather not deal with.

Superman is a different case, but I can see him go for a plasma. Even though he has exceptional eye vision an LED/ LCD or plasma wouldn’t make much of a difference to him, but the refresh rate would bother him if it wasn’t fast enough. So the Plasma having a 600HZ refresh rate would pacify his vision much faster than a 120 HZ or 210HZ.

See which hero or villain you can identify with and make your selection accordingly.
